Monday 8 November, 2021 @ 3:00 pm - Thursday 11 November, 2021 @ 4:00 pm

Monday 8 November - Thursday 11 November inclusive
The pandemic, the Pension Schemes Act, climate change and protecting member outcomes have each created unique challenges for trustees and sponsors that will have a huge impact on future pension scheme strategy.
Join us for XPS WebWeek where the XPS team and our panel of industry specialists and practioners will share their insights, practical guidance and real scheme experiences on what trustees and sponsors are doing now to tackle these challenges.
All sessions will be fully interactive. You can reserve your place for all four webcasts hereor register individually below. All events will be broadcast live between 3pm and 4pm each day and are fully CPD accredited.

Day One: November 8th 3 - 4pm
Is the single code of practice the panacea for protecting scheme members? The Pensions Regulator has increased its focus on pension scheme governance in recent years and the bar is being raised again with the new single code of practice. Our industry panel will discuss how to navigate these changes in a proportionate way so that they add value for your scheme.Book here
Day Two: November 9th 3 - 4pm
New Funding Rules - All change or no change? As we await further detail about the new regime, this will be an interactive session where our panel, consisting of trustee and sponsor and wider industry representatives, will be discussing the implications of the new regime on funding, investment strategy and risk management.Book here
Day Three: November 10th 3 - 4pm
Pension Schemes and our Planet - Can schemes afford to wait to tackle climate change?

The new Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) related regulations comes into force for larger schemes in October, and is widely expected to apply to all schemes from 2023. However, regulations aside, climate change is already upon us and all schemes need to start tackling this complex and fundamental source of risk. The direction of regulatory scrutiny is just one of many signals that schemes will soon be held to account to a higher level of standards than today.Book here
Day Four: November 11th 3 - 4pm
Ensuring good, safe retirement outcomes - How far should trustees and employers go?
We will discuss what can be done to improve outcomes for your DB and DC members and debate how far trustees and employers should go to put in place support including advice, communications and low cost drawdown solutions. We will bring this to life with insights from our DB and DC retirement outcomes research.Book here
