Pension Schemes and our Planet - Can schemes afford to wait to tackle climate change?
The new Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) related regulations comes into force for larger schemes in October, and is widely expected to apply to all schemes from 2023. However, regulations aside, climate change is already upon us and all schemes need to start tackling this complex and fundamental source of risk. The direction of regulatory scrutiny is just one of many signals that schemes will soon be held to account to a higher level of standards than today.Book here |
