We are delighted to announce that we will be holding our first Defined Contribution (DC) Conference on Thursday, 20 September 2018 at the Four Seasons Hotel at Ten Trinity Square, London.
The theme of this conference is The new world of work: future proofing benefits which will cover the significant changes that are happening in today's modern workplace in relation to benefit programmes.
For the first time, five generations of employees are working side by side in UK organisations and the future of workplace relationships is due to fundamentally change in the next few years. There are significant differences in their needs, motivations and situations that could pose a big challenge for employers when it comes to structuring benefits programmes. In addition, the impact of an ageing and more diverse workforce on other aspects of employees' lives is considerable, with many expecting to work longer but more flexibly, feeling more stressed, less healthy and possibly less engaged with their jobs. Our latest research indicates that programmes that link together multiple aspects of an employee's life are becoming the new norm and key to creating an experience that will attract as well as sustain employee engagement.
Full details about the conference will be available at a later date. However, we are delighted to announce that we will be joined by Alison Maitland, who is a leading writer, speaker and academic. Alison has been researching and writing about corporate culture and the changing workforce since the late 1990s, including eight years as Management Writer at the Financial Times. Alison is Director of The Conference Board's Council for Diversity in Business and a Senior Visiting Fellow in the Faculty of Management at Cass Business School, London.
We do hope you can join us for our first DC Conference. For further information and to register, please click the 'Register' button below.
