Aimed at all those involved in finance and investment transactions for pension schemes, this seminar will focus on the latest regulatory and legal developments in three key areas - derivatives, DC investment options and stewardship.
- Derivatives: this autumn sees the start of the next and final stage of regulatory changes and all pension schemes using derivative contracts will be affected. We look at the requirements, the timetable and the practical implications.
- DC: ensuring that DC investment options, especially default funds, are compliant with the new minimum governance standards has been high on the agenda in 2015. We look at what trustees have done to date and what regulatory developments are expected in the months ahead.
- Stewardship: as pressure mounts on pension funds to be active and responsible asset owners and class action activity is on the rise, we look at recent legal developments including the DWP's consultation on proposed changes to the Investment Regulations.
By the end of the session, participants will have a clear overview of regulatory developments and practical tips on how to make sure your scheme is compliant.
We look forward to seeing you.
