The Pension Management Institute (PMI) Award in Pension Trusteeship (Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution) examination gives formal recognition of a trustee’s knowledge and understanding of pension fundamentals.
This two-day training course is aimed specifically at trustees (and others) who wish to sit the PMI Award examination and covers the full (Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution) syllabus including:
• Unit 1 – Pensions overview and legal framework
• Unit 2 – Actuarial analysis and investment
• Unit 3 – Scheme Management
Knowledge is assessed by way of a multi-choice examination. To view the full syllabus please see www.pensions-pmi.org.uk
To prepare candidates to sit the examination, either on the second day of the course or at a separate public sitting, we also aim to provide candidates with an understanding of the techniques associated with passing this examination. We have successfully tutored in excess of 140 delegates through the PMI syllabus with a pass rate of 92%, which is testament to the high quality of training we deliver.
