Baker McKenzie – Global Pensions Webinar Series

Wednesday 19 May, 2021 @ 3:30 pm - Tuesday 8 June, 2021 @ 4:30 pm

Baker McKenzie's Global Pensions team is delighted to invite you to our first virtual global webinar series. This two-part series will bring together colleagues from around the world to explore the latest developments in pensions across multiple jurisdictions.

Scanning the horizon: developments across the global pension markets

Wednesday 19 May, 3.30 - 4.30 pm BST

In our first webinar, we will take the opportunity to look forward and scan some important upcoming global developments, such as public pension reforms, mandatory contribution increases, virtual trustee services and ESG. We will also provide an update on some of the new regional regulatory requirements.

Global transactions: key pensions considerations

Tuesday 8 June, 3.30 - 4.30 pm BST

In our second session, we will focus on dealing with pensions in multi-jurisdictional transactions. It will cover issues such as identifying the key countries to focus on, how pensions should be factored into the pricing of deals, and what buyers should consider when acquiring new plans.

Alongside all of this, you will be able to ask our expert speakers questions and engage in live polls, as well as be the first to gain access to our new flagship "Global Pensions heat map" application which will launch this summer. With our recent global employment survey highlighting that long-term benefits including pensions are one of the key priorities for organisations, this will be a great opportunity for you to learn more about the importance of pensions to your business strategy.

We hope you can join us.
