Aon is pleased to invite you to our Annual Autumn Seminar in Glasgow.

We are delighted to announce that Iain Clacher will be joining us as a guest speaker. An Associate Professor in Accounting with Leeds University Business School, Iain also works as a consultant with a range of organisations (including FTSE 100 companies) and he is involved in a number of working parties (including for the actuarial profession). Iain’s main research interests are pensions and retirement saving decisions, pension investment and infrastructure, and sustainable pension systems and he has published papers in internationally ranked journals.

A regular speaker on the pensions circuit, Iain has a particular interest in behavioural economics and decision-making. At the seminar, he will share his latest research findings in this area, and in a pensions context in particular. This will be explored further at the seminar, including how members, trustees and sponsors are behaving in the new world of pension flexibility. The latest thinking and developments in investment, risk settlement and DC will also be covered.

The conference will be held on Wednesday 19 September at 200 St Vincent Street, Conference & Events Venue, Glasgow, G2 5RQ.

Registration opens at 9:00am with formal proceedings starting at 9:30am. The seminar will close at 1:00pm with a lunch and networking reception afterwards. Coffee and refreshments are included throughout the morning.
