Annual Pensions Seminar 2020: Ripe for change?

Thursday 16 January, 2020 @ 1:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Free
Trustees and sponsoring employers had a huge amount to keep on top of in 2019, with developments coming thick and fast from both inside and outside the pensions industry -  from Brexit related fall-out to new legal obligations in relation to scheme investments and an evolving regulatory landscape in both pensions and financial services.

With 2020 set to be equally eventful politically, and with new legislation and regulation expected impacting both DB and DC schemes, a key challenge for trustee and sponsors in 2020 will be how and, crucially, when, to prepare for future developments such as the Pension Schemes Bill and the follow up Lloyds hearing, without de-railing or holding up other key projects.

We invite you to join us at our annual pensions seminar on 16 January for a fruitful discussion on the following topics:

  • Your five a day: case law and pensions ombudsman update
  • An old chestnut: a practical guide to GMP equalisation and conversion
  • Beware banana skins: key issues for pension schemes in a downturn
  • Crystal fruit bowl gazing: horizon scanning for key developments in 2020
