Have you considered standing for election?

As we come to the AGM we come to our annual farewell and hello for committee members.

Have you made that final decision to stand for election?

Being a committee member involves joining 7-8 meetings a year – currently held at lunchtime with an online option, and hopefully a live option soon, -  and being part of a subgroup keeping a closer eye on things like communications, finance or event planning.

If you are a trustee you will have all the skills we need – because our main focus is supporting and representing our MNT members. We are looking forward to providing opportunities for live conferences and networking as soon as we safely can, and also continuing with short training webinars to keep us all up to date with the changing pensions world. And there is definitely no shortage of current consultations to consider whether MNT’s have a particular comment to make.

If you are not yet sure or think your available time is limited,  – do get in touch for a chat. Perhaps you could start by joining one of the subgroups – or attend committee as a guest. We would love to have your knowledge and experience to help us – and all your fellow MNT’s.
