Are you an effective Trustee?

The session covered the requirements of the new (combined) Code of Practice, with particular focus on what it means to have an Effective System of Governance (ESOG) and how this might actually look in practice.

The team will give an overview of what the new Code requirements are, discuss timescales, and explain what pension scheme trustees should be doing, to make sure that their governance systems really work for their scheme now and in the future.

Using a case study they will give practical examples of how trustees can approach reviewing current governance arrangements, filling in any gaps that might be identified, and documenting things effectively.
