In general terms the risk of climate change catastrophe has been in the headlines very extensively in the UK and overseas. The symposium will be focusing on how the financial services sector could play an important part in helping to mitigate the risks we may all be exposed to.
The symposium will be covering a range of topics including an important “exposé” on the potential perils of 5G.
As you may be aware, some academics and scientists believe 5G is potentially harmful to the environment.
Some say that:
It would seem prudent that we should be aware that there might be an issue in relation to 5G so that we can consider the evidence and decide for themselves.
The session about 5G at the event is going to be delivered by Joe St Clair, UK Director of the World Sustainability Forum. Joe has been taking a look at the evidence available and it’s rather interesting to say the least.
We have several other topics being covered including an update on the work of the British Standards Institute who are developing sustainability standards for world-wide application; the Transparency Task Force is pleased to be involved with that project.
We also have a Power Panel for Parliamentarians and Policymakers.
