With the government’s levelling up agenda seeking to improve the lives of our communities up and down the country, vast sums of institutional capital will be required to play a significant role if we are to maximise Britain’s New Investment Future. Peter Harrison, CEO of Schroders, alongside institutional asset owners, will be discussing the future of asset management and those asset classes and local impact projects that can both fulfil fiduciary duty and outcomes, whilst contributing to the improvements within our communities across the most deprived areas of the UK.
Following this session, we will host an institutional roundtable exploring how long-term capital can be part of the solution to society’s biggest challenges. Adequate pension provision, the supply of quality jobs and homes and the role of renewables in the energy transition will all be on the table for discussion as Britain continues on its path to net zero. The discussion will be hosted by Olivia Docker, Institutional Client Group, alongside Tatiana Zervos, Private Markets Group, Schroders Greencoat and Chris Santer, Fund Manager for real estate impact strategies.
The Conference will begin with presentations detailing the macro environment and a multi-asset panel discussing where opportunities are presenting themselves in 2023.
