Creating a diverse and inclusive working environment benefits everyone. When you feel welcome and able to be yourself you can truly thrive. People can do their best work, have more rewarding careers, decision-making becomes more assured and we believe it also leads to enhanced client relationships. That’s why diversity and inclusion is a strategic imperative for us here at Hymans Robertson and it’s an integral part of our purpose – together, building better futures.
When it comes to diversity and inclusion there will always be more to do, and the job will never be "done". The journey to inclusivity isn’t without its barriers - from tackling unconscious biases, ensuring equal opportunities for all and, importantly, building understanding and empathy so we can put ourselves in other people’s shoes. The more we talk and the more we share experiences, the better we’ll all be able to do this.
That’s why we're inviting you to join us, and a fabulous line up of guest speakers, for a virtual event that will explore the part we can all play in building a more diverse and inclusive future. Fittingly, this is taking place during National Inclusion Week and we hope you will join us; all are welcome!
