Assessing the Future of DC – Breakfast Seminar, Hymans Robertson

Wednesday 11 July, 2018 @ 8:30 am - 11:00 am

Invitation to join our seminar on the future of DC provision
DC provision in the UK has fast reached maturity in terms of the number of participating employers and individuals thanks to auto-enrolment, but arguably still has a long way to go to meet the future needs of savers.

Auto-enrolment, freedom and choice, the rise in use of Master Trusts and changing expectations about how far members should continue to be supported after retirement, can all lead to questions about what the future holds for DC.

Join our breakfast seminar on Wednesday 11 July where we will bring together independent trustees, providers and industry figures to debate and discuss how DC should evolve in the long term.

Over the course of the morning we will host two sessions:

In session one an independent trustee and Master Trust representative will debate the pros and cons of the rise in Master Trust provision, and whether they meet the needs of both the employer and the employee.

Session two will bring together a panel of experts to assess the state of retirement support for members post freedom & choice and explore what ‘good’ looks like.

This seminar is suitable for employers, trustees and anyone with a general interest in DC issues.

Register now to attend the seminar.
