The environment in which local government pension schemes operate has changed almost beyond recognition in recent years. This year’s Forum takes place at a critical time, with MiFID II implementation in January 2018, the April deadline for pooling looming, and increased regulatory focus on adviser transparency. Bringing together policymakers, regulators and industry experts, we explore how local authority pension schemes can respond to these challenges as well as take advantage of the latest industry and investment developments.
